MORGANS MASTER BLENDS  

                  

BEER ENHANCER - Aromas and colours in a world of their own.  This is the Master Blend malt to use with Morgans beer kits for true to type beer. This Master Blend will not affect the flavour components of the kit – just enhance them.
Contains 2 Row Pale Malt Extract, Glucose and Honey.


LAGER MALT - A Lager Malt Master Blend will body up a beer and build in a malty flavour when added to a beer kit.  Our Lager malt is pale in colour, fully kettled for final clarity and contains all of the natural malt nutrients needed for good fermentation.
Contains 100% 2 Row Barley Lager Malt being 1350g of barley malt.

 

masterCaramalt.jpg (26708 bytes) CARAMALT - is the lightest possible colour crystal malt and carries a soft Toffee Caramel flavour and aroma. Caramalt is ideal for the creation of Amber Ales and light beers, where you may desire a subtle caramel flavour.
Contains 60% Caramalt grain and 40% Pale Barley malt grain, being 800g Caramalt and 550g Pale Barley malt grain.

 

DARK CRYSTAL MALT - Is a full crystal rich caramel nutty flavour and aroma without the burnt roasted flavor you would normally associate with Stouts etc. Dark Crystal will impart a very smooth caramel flavor that makes it ideal to use in Porters etc. Dark Crystal can be combined with Roasted Black Malt for rich Stouts.
Contains 60% dark crystal malt grain and 40% Vienna malt grain.

 

CHOCOLATE MALT - Is a light roasted flavour and aroma. Chocolate Malt is very useful when making any of the darker styles of beer, where a mild roasted flavour is desired. Dark Munich, German Dark Bock, Porters, Brown Ales and Dunkelweizen are among the beer types where chocolate would be utilised.
Contains 15% Chocolate Malt Grain and 85% Munich Malt Grain.

 

ROASTED BLACK MALT - Is a roasted, bitter, mocha flavor and aroma. Used almost exclusively in Stouts and beers such as Dunkelweizen. In general, most Stout type beers have a roasted black malt content ranging from 5 to 10%. Dark Ales can be made with a content as low as 3 to 4%.
Contains 12% Roasted Black Malt grain and 88% Munich.
